My Approach
With expertise in addressing trauma, schizophrenia, relationship distress, sexual or gender identity concerns, chronic pain, sleep disturbances, and more, Marcus is committed to providing a supportive and understanding environment for healing and growth.
Marcus’ approach is rooted in exploring early childhood experiences alongside current issues, helping clients to uncover connections between their past and present. This process illuminates valuable insights, paving the way for meaningful progress and transformation.
Passionate about de-stigmatizing life's struggles, Marcus works to help clients understand patterns and recognize the strengths they possess to overcome barriers. By fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust and honesty, he supports clients in connecting with their deeper feelings in a comforting and supportive manner.
With a client-centered approach, Marcus tailors each session to follow the client's lead, ensuring personalized care that meets the client’s needs as they develop and evolve. By integrating a coaching framework, Marcus helps clients build actionable steps toward achieving their life goals and values, leading to a more fulfilling experience of life amidst the distress of daily challenges that may feel out of our control.
Marcus is dedicated to empowering clients and helping them find clarity and resilience in the face of life's challenges. Marcus feels that good therapy should feel good, and leave clients feeling empowered with new insights and coping skills after each session. To help him help you achieve this, he will continually ask for your feedback, thoughts and experiences of therapy, as well as your hopes of the continuing process.
