My Approach
Hi, I’m Sara, a Master of Counselling Student in the final stage of completing my degree to achieve the designation of Registered Clinical Counsellor.
My goal is to support people in achieving a better quality of life by offering compassionate, personalized counselling. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate the various challenges that life presents, particularly during those significant times of transition when they may feel uncertain or overwhelmed. Another area I feel deeply committed to is helping those struggling with anxiety and depression, as these are some of the most common mental health challenges faced daily.
In my practice, I see the client as the expert in their own life, and I believe in the power of collaboration. Together, we can work to understand your unique needs, strengths, and goals. I like to take a holistic approach to counselling, considering not just mental health, but also the physical, emotional, and social factors that impact your overall well-being.
My mission is to help you feel empowered and supported as you navigate your journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
A little bit about Sara:
In my spare time I love to mountain bike, spend time with my friends, spend time with my family, and play a range of different sports such as “ultimate”!
I also dedicate a lot of my spare time to learning more about mental health and becoming culturally competent. This ongoing learning helps me provide meaningful support to individuals as they navigate their unique paths toward becoming the best versions of themselves.
